Jonathan Ive正式被受封為英國騎士。:

就如同各位所熟知的，Jonathan Ive最著名的頭銜就是「Apple Senior Vice President, Industrial Design（Apple工業設計資深副總裁）」。不過現在，Ive有了更炫的稱謂── Sir Jonathan Ive。

根據BBC，在大英帝國2012年受勳名單中，Jonathan Ive已被受封為Knight Commander of the British Empire（KBE，爵級司令勳章）。簡單來說，就是騎士。

I am keenly aware that I benefit from a wonderful tradition in the UK of designing and making. To be recognized with this honour is absolutely thrilling and I am both humbled and sincerely grateful. I discovered at an early age that all I’ve ever wanted to do is design. I feel enormously fortunate that I continue to be able to design and make products with a truly remarkable group of people here at Apple.

我深深地覺得，我從英國精采的設計與製造傳統得到了許多幫助，也體認到這份榮譽是多麼地令人激動，並讓人衷心地感謝。我從小就發現，我想要做的就是設計。我覺得我非常地幸運，可以在Apple與真正了不起的團隊一同打造產品。

Thirty years ago this week the original Commodore 64 was announced, and it came with a massive 64KB of RAM, and ended up being very popular with sales of around 17.5 million units.

The Commodore brand was resurrected last year and you can now buy a PC with the latest components which is also called the Commodore 64, although it features quite a bit more RAM than the original 64KB.

It seems the latest company who intends to launch their own App store is Nintendo, according to a recent report by the Daily, Nintendo are working on their own app store for their Wii U console which will go on sale in 2012.

According to the report, the new Wii U app store will offer full game titles to download to your console, as well as the latest games, as well as other apps which bring other functions to the console.

Nintendo 也要開始推出自家付費 DLC 遊戲囉！:

遲遲不敢跨入付費遊戲下載領域的 Nintendo 總算決定在自家遊戲採取這樣的銷售策略了（雖然目前看來銷售並沒有太大的影響，但前陣子出爐的市佔成績還是讓他們有些緊張吧）。日前也已經確定將由 3DS 的「聖火降魔錄（Fire Emblem）」搶先出擊成為 Nintendo 自家首款採用 DLC 的遊戲。至於大家關心的價位部份，目前則尚未有具體消息。除此之外，他們暗示將在 Wii-U 加入這樣的下載功能，再加上岩田聰先生曾確認過這樣的消息，未來想必也會很快地就跟大家見面才是。雖然 DLC 應該還是無法取代拿到實體遊戲的滿足感，但各位是否還是很期待這樣便利的付費下載功能出現在你的掌上型主機呢？（不過總覺得肯定未來會出現很多熱門遊戲的「付費補完」吧...）
