《富比世》報導 Dropbox 拒絕蘋果收購內幕:

根據《富比世》雜誌日前的報導指出，目前當紅的雲端儲存服務公司 Dropbox 曾於 2009 年 12 月面對來自蘋果公司所開出的「九位數」收購（曾有消息指出是 8 億美元）提議，但當時 Dropbox 創辦人 Arash Ferdowsi 與 Drew Houston 予以拒絕。

《富比世》指出，當時的蘋果執行長 Steve Jobs 邀約甫成立兩年的 Dropbox 的創辦人 Arash Ferdowsi 與 Drew Houston 來到蘋果總部，並說明「Dropbox 帶來的是一個功能，而不是一個產品」，由於蘋果也會做類似的服務，所以乾脆出資將 Dropbox 買下，兩全其美。當然當時 Jobs 所說的，就是今日的 iCloud 。不過 Ferdowsi 與 Houston 當面拒絕 Jobs 。因為他們決定要把公司做大，而不想將之出售。所以不出售的決定與誰出價，或是出價金額多寡都無關。

如今 Dropbox 已有超過五千萬的使用者，幾乎是每秒中都有新使用者加入，而 Dropbox 也正如當年兩位創辦人拒絕 Jobs 所提出的理由，至今仍在獨立運作中，並沒有出售給任何其他公司。

Simple shapes are more. These milk packaging concepts were designed by Adam Åkesson and Jonas Eriksson. The assignment was to develop a new package for Wapnö—a dairy company in Halmstad, Sweden. The designers focused their concept at a younger market in an effort to regain for milk some of its lost popularity.

The simple use of shape on these packages is rather attractive. The one question that I have is: would the aluminum can affect the taste of milk?
