台灣插畫家Fu結合ECHO CREATIVE品牌推出「ROBOT 99 iPad 2 Cover」: 以下轉述廠商新聞稿： 來自台灣的插畫家Fu與台灣3C精品周邊製造商ECHO creative合作的商品，日前獲全美最大非官方Apple新聞網站TUAW評鑑為”最酷最有趣的iPad 2保護套”，文章中提到”iPad 2 很酷！Smart Cover很酷！Fu的機器人插畫非常酷！這三個酷品合在一起會是什麼呢？答案就是Robot 99 iPad 2 保護套特別版！” Fu-design Store為台灣插畫家Fu與妻子Claire在紐約創立的插畫品牌，致力於插畫商品開發與圖樣合作授權，如帆布畫作、插畫網帽、插畫iPhone手機殼、3C保護袋、iPad2保護殼等等。Fu-design Store從2010年冬天網路開店至今，一直受到不少喜愛現代藝術的朋友喜愛，並帶給歐美人士耳目一新的亞洲當代藝術感受。 旅居紐約的插畫家Fu畢業於紐約大學互動通訊學系ITP，有著多元化的背景，除了插畫創作之外，更跨足機器人雕塑與App遊戲開發，其獨立開發的iPad/iPhone跨平台遊戲Robot 99，甫推出就獲得熱烈的迴響，目前累積下載量已達四萬多次。2010年年初，台灣3C精品周邊製造商ECHO creative相中了Robot 99的魅力，與Fu越洋合作了一款特別訂製的iPad 2商品，為了開發出結合Fu原創插畫與高質感的皮革材質保護套，期間經過不 斷的印刷技術改進與調整，終於在日前推出了這款商品，一上架就受到了廣大的歡迎，甚至連澳洲、德國、烏克蘭、英國、西班牙等等的買家都搶著上網訂購。 插畫家Fu提到”我希望能藉由Fu插畫與商品的異業結合，讓全球更多人喜歡台灣設計，更進一步認識到來自亞洲，有別於日本當代藝術的新風格！”。Fu-design Store方於今年八月參加紐約國際商品展New York International Gift Fair，負責人Claire表示”Fu- design還是個剛在起步中的品牌，除了插畫商品的開發合作，我們也在積極尋找插畫藝術展的機會，期許這個來自臺灣的紐約品牌能將人文藝術融入生活中，在未來有更多的可能性。”。
