At the IFA in Berlin this week KT Korea’s leading mobile provider has unveiled their new Spider Concept smartphone which is a new and innovative idea built using the Android OS. The KT Spider is the worlds first Android Smartphone that can be converted and combined with other devices says KT.
For instance the Spider can be combined with a number of different devices to provide extra input options or be inserted into the back of a tablet shell to provide the processing power and memory for the tablet or be docked within a controller to create a handheld gaming machine. Sony has unveiled a new range of iPhone speaker docks at this years IFA, which are designed to be used with your iPhone and iPod as well as other MP3 players and smartphones.
There are two models the Sony SRS-BTV25 and the Sony RDP-V20iP, the first model, the Sony SRS-BTV25 comes with Bluetooth A2DP, which means that it can be used with a wide range of MP3 players and smartphones.

Last week we heard about a new TV from Haier which features no wires and is powered without the need for a power cable, and now Haier has shown off another new TV at this years IFA, a 22 inch transparent OLED TV.
This new transparent OLED TV features similar specifications to Samsung’s OLED panel that we heard about previously, with a WSXGA+ resolution of 1680 x 1050, have a look at the video of it in action.

What’s seen below is the fabulous work of an inventive design duo who finally decided that sipping rain water can’t be a bad thing. Definitely better than drinking it from a puddle in the ground. The garment is called the Raincatch and it converts all the water pouring over you to drinkable and refreshing liquid. Ahhh!

Some of our reader will remember the turbine powered Batmobile that we featured on Geeky Gadgets back in July, the maker of this cool Batmobile has decided to put it up for sale and it is now listed on eBay for $620,000.
The turbine powered Batmobile was created by Casey Putsch, and it features a Boeing turbine engine from a decommissioned military helicopter, the video below shows it in action.

Apparently there’s this huge arts festival in Munich coming up and among the vast multitude of art installations to be exhibited include this giant Like button inspired by Facebook. It was made by Mario Klingemann and works real easy. You see it, you go near it, you press it, and hey! You’ve liked it! The number on the small screen goes up by one.
